Vacancy – Paint Technician
SARIS Coatings require a Paint Technician to join the team.
- The successful candidate will ensure that paint batches are produced efficiently, in a cost efficient manner and are to the correct quantity and standard.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Fulfil paint production as instructed, tinting and mixing to customer specifications
- Maintain a clean working environment and equipment
- Stock check on paint materials reporting to purchasing
- Placement of paint related stock
- Take retained paint samples and keep records
- Maintaining accurate work order files and formulas
Basic Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the UK, without sponsorship for employment visa status.
- Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift or carry up to 25 Kilos.
- Able to tint paint to agreed target, therefore, must be able to distinguish the difference between colours.
Previous experience not necessary as full training will be provided
- Good written and verbal communication skills, computer literate.
