Turning back the years – a leap forward in coatings
We get all sorts of projects and many unusual items to find coatings solutions for at SARIS.
This is a Morris Y type van from 1944, and would have been the go-to vehicle for many small businesses including local butchers, bakers and grocers, delivering throughout the United Kingdom in the 30’s-40’s.
This particular example has undergone a complete bare metal strip, panel fabrication and repaint. Our customer was looking for something special to do this old vehicle justice.
SARIS selected Axalta Percotop Power Primer CS372 as the build primer with Imron Elite for the two-tone black and blue topcoats.
This fabulous old vehicle is now assured a long and happy life touring the many classic events throughout the UK. The owner can be safe in the knowledge that the coating system provided by SARIS will give many years of protection and enjoyment.
