Big Green Monster

This army truck is quite a monster, a six-wheel drive tipper complete with crane. Designed for logistics support to our armed forces and able to go anywhere around the world. This called for a tough solution. The vehicle had been exposed to salt spray and was rusty, so after shotblasting our customer applied a coat of SARPRIM1KZP zinc phosphate primer to both the chassis and body using air assisted spray pump. This was then finished with two coats of NATO green to the body and black to the chassis using SARONECOATC a 1K Direct to Metal, low sheen finish with added zinc phosphate. Its now back to tip top condition and ready to take on its next challenge.

SARONECOATC is available in a range of RAL and BS colours and can be used either direct to steel as a single stage process or with SARPRIM1KZP primer as a two-stage system. SARPRIM1KZP primer is available in a limited range of popular primer colours, both products are available from SARIS.
