SARIS announce a new innovative coating from Hesse-Lignal, PLANET-STONE.
A durable stone coating for wood, plastic and many more surfaces.
Solid stone is heavy, cumbersome and complicated to install. The lacquered alternative is lighter and quite uncomplicated. PLANET-STONE by Hesse-Lignal, makes it possible to coat wood, plastic and many other surfaces with real stone pigments.
Once applied, PLANET-STONE looks just like real stone, the surfaces are extremely durable, easy to clean and meet the requirements of DIN 68861-1B with the PU base.
This effect coating is achieved simply by adding stone powder to a suitable Hesse-Lignal base lacquer on a HYDRO or PU base. The colour palette comprises 10 different stone powders, also, many more colour variations can be created, depending on the colour of the basecoat. PLANET-STONE is applied with a conventional spray gun and large nozzle. Additionally, the powder can be scattered by hand into the base lacquer when still wet. Subsequently applying a final clear topcoat creates a smoother surface and offers more finishing options.
PLANET-STONE by Hesse-Lignal also scores highly on sustainability. No mass stone extraction takes place in our planet’s quarries. The stone powder comes from cutting slabs of real stone, providing a sustainable re-use of a waste product.
